Upper Primary Rising Band
A comprehensive tuition program in which students learn Band instruments through instruction in a group.
The Rising Band program consolidates Instrumental Music learning through the Band Ensemble Method used in all HKIS Band Programs.
Rising Band is the premier UP Band ensemble.
This program is open to students with focused single Instrument experience.
UP Rising Band students engage in two classes of band ensemble per week. Rising Band students are well prepared to continue band classes throughout Middle School, onto High School Music Programs and beyond.
Band Instruction Fees include a full year of Instrumental Music classes and ensemble class. All materials and instruments for the instrument learning in both terms are provided.
Each student must attend two group classes per week during the school year.
