Tai Tam Campus Covid Protocols
Travel Declaration Forms
All Students must have completed the Health and Travel Declaration form and continue to keep it updated should their household circumstances change.
Temperature Log Books
All students must have their temperature checked by their parents/guardians and entered in their log book before leaving home.
• All students should bring their temperature log book for checking on entry to campus every day.
Arriving at Tai Tam Campus
Students should arrive at Tai Tam campus 10-15 minutes before the start of the class.
Mask Use at Tai Tam Campus
Students must wear face masks when arriving and around campus.
Students must bring a ziplock bag to store and also a spare mask every day.
On Site at Tam Tam Campus
• After being allowed to enter the campus, students should go directly to their classes and not wait around common areas of the campus.
• Hand sanitisers will be placed in each classroom and all students must sanitize their hands when entering the classroom and after returning from the bathroom.
• Students MUST bring their own drink bottles (and there is strictly no sharing).
Leaving Tai Tam Campus
Once classes are over, students will be directed on how to leave the campus. It’s the parents’ responsibility to pick up the students promptly after the classes finish.

Adults on Campus
Please note that the general rule is that the MS Campus is for Students only and it is strictly students only allowed in classrooms. Parents or helpers who are finding it extremely inconvenient to have to leave campus and come back to pick up can now stay in the MS Cafeteria during class time.
Students waiting on Campus – The MS Cafeteria is NOT a place for students to wait on campus. It is strictly for parents or helpers to wait while their children are in class.
Venue Protocols & Guidelines
Band Music Camp Room
Only registered students will be permitted in the venue. Parents, siblings, helpers, etc are not allowed to enter the Music Rooms..
Students should walk from the entry gate to the Music room, both located on the while maintaining social distance.
All students should arrive no more than 15 minutes before the start of their session. On arrival within this time frame, students should proceed directly to the Music Room.
Hand sanitisers will be placed in the music room corridor and all students must sanitize their hands before entering the music rooms and after returning from the bathroom.
Entry into the Learning Venue
• Entry into the music room will be spaced, with explicit instructions provided for students:
• Bags outside the Music room in a designated space.
• Musical Instruments (in case), Pencil Case and Water Bottle to be taken into music room.
• Students go to designated seats and unpack instrument ready for class.
• On entry to the Music Room, students must follow all teacher instructions.
For Band Camp students MUST bring their own:
• Musical Instruments (and there is strictly no sharing) *Excluding Euphonium and Tuba instrumentalists, who will have an individually allocated cleaned school instrument to use during camp.
• Drink bottles (and there is strictly no sharing).
• Pencil cases (and there is strictly no sharing).
No eating allowed during any session.
Face Masks
• Face Masks must be worn until the students arrive in the Music Room and can only removed once seated in the designated learning space.
• Please note that students are not required to wear masks during music sessions whilst playing, but when moving around the room, or moving to another room, or using the bathroom, students will wear masks.
• Students should bring a ziploc bag to store their masks during the session and also are required to bring a spare mask.
In Music Class:
• Teachers will not be required to wear masks in the venue while teaching, but will maintain <1.5m from students.
• Ultra-sonic mouthpiece cleaners will be available, as needed, for student use.
• Musical Instrument consumables, like reeds, oils, etc, will be made available, as needed for student use.
Departure of Students
Students should exit the venue via the music room corridor to exit the campus or transition to the next class.
• Students will be encouraged to use hand sanitizer outside the music room before exiting the venue.
• Music stands will be disinfected after classes. Musical items will not be shared.
• Students will take all belongings with them at the end of the class.
