School Instrument Rental
Terms and Conditions School Rental
Rental: Rent will be payable in advance, in one instalment, with the rental period being the ‘School Year’ (usually Aug/Sept to May/June.).
Instruments are inspected on return.
Damage beyond normal ‘wear and tear’ will be invoiced to the renter.
Deposit: No deposit is required for the School Band Instrument Rentals.
Use, Maintenance and Repair: The Customer shall keep the Rental Instrument in good working order, and excluding general wear and tear, any repairs, maintenance or replacement required to maintain the Rental Instrument in good working order must be performed by the Owner (MicraMusic) at the expense of the Customer. Any damage should be reported to the Owner immediately.
Liability Waiver: The Owner shall not be liable for any injury or loss sustained by the Customer by the operation, handling or transportation of the Rental Instrument during the rental term.
Disclaimer: The Rental Instrument remains the property of MicraMusic. The Customer herein authorises the Company and its representatives to repossess the instrument from any location in case of non-return of the Rental Instrument, or no pre-arrangement has been made to extend the Rental Agreement or purchase the instrument. The Customer will be liable for all costs of collections and/or repossession, to the extent allowed by law.
Instrument Return:
Return prior to the end of the Rental Period:
If returning the instrument prior to the end of the school year, please contact micramus@gmail.com to arrange an instrument drop off at our Aberdeen Workshop.
Return at the end of the Rental Period:
Return the instrument according to the school’s directions at the conclusion of the Band classes. This is usually a bulk collection, and not requiring an individual instrument drop off.
Please check the instrument case for all items (mouthpiece, cap, straps etc), and remove any personal belongings.
Payment of the Rental Invoice confirms that you have read and understood the responsibilities outlined above, and agree to the conditions of rental of the musical instrument.
