Band Basics students are invited to join in the fun on Wednesday 13 October.

Sessions are approximately 20 - 25 minutes long.
This is a celebration of achievement, rather than a lesson.
Students will share their knowledge of playing the song ‘ Au Claire de la Lune’.
This session is optional, and does not replace a regularly scheduled Band Basics ASA session.
Students:
Be ready before the session with instruments (and booklet if fingering/slide chart if needed).
Review the song - Au Claire de la Lune (d, r, m) if needed beforehand.
Parents:
Clear your phone for the videos of the 'Recital Performances' .
Format:
Nine versions of the son Au Claire de la Lune will be played.
Three versions within a tempo range will be rehearsed with the solo / play-along and accompaniment.
One version from the three rehearsed tempo ranges will be a ‘recital’ accompaniment.
This process will be repeated for a total of three times.
The ‘Recital’ version is ideal to record and share.
